We would like to point out that there have been a number of statements on line that Casimir Effect is affiliated to the International Film School Wales or Newport Film School as it used to be known. This was true up to a point, in November 2009 it was agreed between ourselves and the university that we would leave university and take a year out to make Casimir Effect. This was with the view that we might return to complete out 3rd year of our degree should we have time and feel the need to, this is still a bridge…

So Casimir Effect wrapped last weekend! We got all the scenes filmed and managed to just about stay on schedule! It was hectic, crazy, tiring but altogether fabulous! The cast and crew were all amazing and we could never thank them enough for all their incredible hard work.
We seemed to have somehow picked two of the coldest locations to film in, our main location the Coal Exchange was spectacular and perfect for Casimir Effect as mainly derelict. We took over a whole corridor and set of rooms, half of it painted up as sets, the rest taken over by Art,…

Remember any donation greater than £10 will get your name immortalised in the films credits, and you will get a warm fuzzy feeling from helping an independent film get made.
Also remember the e-store is also a good way to support the film, we…

It’s been a busy week on the farm, in the office. The schedule is close to perfect, were still tweaking it, our First AD looks at me funny when I say we need to move things around. Had a few more revisions to the script moving characters from the background of scenes to make the actors day a lot smoother.
Our insurance is just about sorted now I’m waiting for paper work so I can sign it and pay, however the chap at the brokers is on holiday this week. We have final arrangements to make for our locations mostly…
