Day 2 of filming is over only 10 more days to go. Things were a little hectic to start with but now everything is getting buttery. We’re getting some great shots and the rushes are looking fantastic. I’ll try to clear some stills this weekend, then you can see the progress so far.

Today’s shoot was good we had a few issues with external sound beyond our control, but we worked around them. Though the pigeons were annoying. The last scene of the day is the money shot, it just looks so stunning, it looks amazing. I want to get a still from this cleared ASAP.

Our crew have been fantastic, and I would love to give them all a hug, but it might get a bit weird. You’re doing stellar work peeps, keep it up Casimir Effect needs you and everyone’s contribution no matter how small is going to make this film great.

I would also like to thank all those who have followed helped so far, but the road is a long one and anything can happen in the next 10 days. Then we have to work on editing and marketing. Our budget goal has been reached and we need to push for that last part to keep the production running.

One week away from filming and we’re getting close to our target, only £776 short at the 8 day mark. We have a few things left in auction which will help greatly, however we are hoping that we can get some of you who haven’t donated yet to dig deep and help us get to the end. Once our goal is reached we are far from the end, anything can happen during filming and the last thing we want to do is feed the cast and crew 9p noodles. Though this is an option on some films it would be nice to give them a warm meal once in a while as they are all giving their time for free. The Anti Noodle Fund is our contingency fund should anything go wrong, then we know we have some money at hand to get those last minute things. As many of our readers know things never go to plan no matter how good your plan is and with the recent change to how were getting out lighting we have had to shuffle some funds around to get enough to cover the cost of lighting hire. This is a prime example of an eleventh hour disaster that happens all to often to films. So the Anti Noodle fund is designed to make sure any disasters don’t have us running to Lidl for a case of cheap noodles.
